I got a call from a woman in Cardiff-by-the-Sea on a Tuesday morning. She'd found a spare key in a kitchen drawer, tried it in the door, and it turned. Cut a fresh blade to match the vehicle, tested both keys through full start cycles, and confirmed the immobilizer accepted them cleanly.
She didn't need a tow. She didn't need to wait several days. She needed about forty minutes and someone who could come to her driveway in Cardiff-by-the-Sea. The dealer comparison was an afterthought by the time I packed up.
