A guy over at Coronado Shores had picked up a used 2006 Lexus GS from a private seller a few weeks before he called me. Clean car, clearly well kept, but the seller handed it over with one key and told him to sort out a spare on his own.
He had already called the Lexus dealer. They gave him a number that made him check if they had read it wrong. They had not. The part he seemed most relieved about was the spare itself. He knew that if he ever loses one now, the next call is an add-a-key job. On a vehicle like this, that is a much simpler situation than all-keys-lost.
