Got a call from a guy out near Conejo Mountain Open Space in Camarillo. He had a 2013 E350, both keys gone. One lost months ago, the second one fell out of his pocket on a trail and he spent an hour retracing steps before giving up.

I pulled up, opened the door with no damage, and got my laptop on the OBD port. Read the EZS, confirmed it was FBS3, which meant I could work the key data on site. Decoded the lock cylinder for the mechanical cut, ran a fresh IYZ-3312 blank through the machine, then wrote the transponder to an open slot and wiped the two missing keys from the system.
He sat on his tailgate the whole time, watching but not hovering. When the engine turned over on the new key, he just nodded. No celebration, just relief.
Cut him a second spare while I was there. Tested both remotes on all four doors, trunk release, panic. Everything clean. He drove home instead of waiting a week and a tow bill.
