Worn Porsche key shells are probably the most common call I get on the brand. The car-shaped smart fobs crack at the nose, the logo badge peels, and the buttons go mushy after years of pocket time. The older Cayenne flip keys, like the KR55WK45022 with the HU66 blade, crack right at the pivot joint until the blade wobbles loose.

All three buttons, lock, unlock, and trunk, responded clean in the new shell with a fresh Porsche crest badge.
She walked away with her original programmed key in a body that actually held together. The dealer wanted a full replacement when the only thing worn out was the plastic around it.
