2015 Ram Promaster Remote Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
I got a call on a Saturday morning from a referee working the soccer fields near Serra Cross/Grant Park in Ventura.
He had a full slate of games to officiate that afternoon and his 2015 Ram ProMaster fob had cracked at the seam sometime during the week. The blade was so loose it barely caught the ignition cylinder, and he had been babying it all morning just to move the van between fields.
The dealer was closed on weekends. He was not towing anything anywhere.
I pulled up between his games. The fob housing was split clean at the seam, the kind of crack that happens when a work van key takes one too many drops onto pavement. The circuit board inside was still fine. I verified the door lock with my decoder, cut a fresh blade to match, and transferred his electronics into a new housing. Then I went through programming with my OBD tool, battery disconnected first the way these vans want it done, and ran three start cycles before I handed it back.
He was on the field for the 2pm game with a working key. He did not miss a single match.
The dealer comparison barely came up. He already knew. He had called them first, heard "Monday at the earliest," and moved on.
