I got a call from a guy parked near the library over in Casa Conejo. He had already paid another locksmith for a key on his 2004 Toyota Echo, and the car would crank, catch, then die every single time. Two seconds of life, then nothing. When it completed, the confirmation on my screen showed the key was permanently stored. Started the car. No stall, no hesitation, just a clean idle.
He had already paid once for a job that was only half done. I couldn't get that money back for him, but I could at least show him the screen confirming this one was actually finished. That is what done looks like.
