A guy landed after a late flight, walked out to the economy lot near Oxnard, and his 2009 Volkswagen Beetle sat there dead to the fob. No chirp, no unlock, nothing. He made his shoot on time. The whole visit ran about thirty minutes. The dealer would have meant a tow, a two-day wait, and a bill that made this look like pocket change.
