Programmed the replacement through OBD. His KR55WK45022 remote tested clean on all three buttons: lock, unlock, trunk release.
The whole job was done before the lesson ended and two little kids came out dripping.
He loaded two wet toddlers into car seats and drove home. The dealer wanted a half-day he did not have and way more money. His kids had no idea anything happened. That was the whole point.
