A guy in Downtown Ramona had been fighting his 2007 Tahoe ignition for a few weeks before he called me. Some mornings the key went in smooth and turned clean. Other mornings he was sitting in his driveway jiggling, pulling back slightly, pushing in, trying again. Eventually it just stopped cooperating on a Tuesday morning when he needed to be somewhere.

He saved a good chunk compared to what the dealer wanted, and the fix was done in his driveway without a tow truck involved anywhere in the story.
