I got a call from a guy parked at his office lot off Garden Road in Poway. He had one key left for his 2009 CR-V, and the remote had stopped responding. Not the battery, he already swapped it. The key still turned, the car still started, but the lock and unlock buttons were dead and he was manually keying the door every time like it was 1998.
