He'd landed at the end of a red-eye and walked out to the economy lot moving on fumes. The 2023 CR-V sat right where he'd left it. He hit the door handle. Nothing. Hit it again. Still nothing.

He was in his car and on the freeway home before the dealer's service desk had even opened for the morning. Total was a fraction of what the tow alone would have cost him.
