A call came in from Mission Oaks, Camarillo, around 10 at night. She worked nursing, just finished a double, and her only key to the 2012 TSX was gone somewhere between the hospital and the grocery store parking lot. She wasn't sure if it fell out of her scrubs or got left in a locker. Either way, it was not coming back that night.

I set up under the parking lot lights, built the flip key, and ran the all-keys-lost procedure through the OBD port. The TSX immobilizer does have a timed sequence during that process, so I talked her through what was happening instead of just staring at the tool in silence. Once the fob was registered and tested, I walked every button with her watching.
She drove home. The dealer was closed and would have needed the car towed in anyway. She saved a good chunk, and more importantly she didn't spend the night waiting on a flatbed.
