What you're dealing with is more likely a handle sensor that needs cleaning or has started to degrade.

Wipe down the handle area, specifically the leading edge where the touch zone sits, and retest. If it stays inconsistent on one door only, that points to the handle or its wiring on that side rather than anything with the fob or the vehicle security system. Worth ruling out the cheap fix before pulling a handle apart.
