Got a call from a guy at a Cadillac meetup near Simi Valley Dog Park. He was already frustrated before we spoke. I ran the BCM security access on my Smart Pro and reprogrammed his M3N5WY7777A with the correct GM immobilizer relearn sequence. All five buttons came back solid, push-to-start responded first touch every time, and the passive entry pickup range was back to normal on every door handle.
He paid exactly what I quoted on the phone. The dealer had wanted significantly more for the same job, and the scam locksmith charged a good chunk on top of that and still couldn't finish it.
