Out in La Colonia, I got a call around midnight from a guy who had been standing in his driveway for forty minutes trying to figure out what happened to his 2010 STS.
The fob had been getting weird for about a week. Sometimes the door handle wouldn't respond on the first touch. Sometimes it would take two or three tries to get the start button to register. He saved a good chunk compared to what the dealer would have charged, and he didn't have to pay for a tow on top of it. The part that seemed to stick with him was just that it was done in his own driveway at midnight instead of sometime the next afternoon.
