I got a call out of Lemonwood on a Tuesday afternoon. Guy with a 2011 Cadillac STS, all keys lost. Not a dead fob, not a weak battery. Gone. He said he moved recently and somewhere in the chaos both fobs disappeared. The car had been sitting in his driveway for three days.

New fob, cut the emergency insert blade to his door, tested every button, walked both doors, tested the start. Car fired up in his driveway.
He asked what the dealer would have charged after the tow. I told him to think of it as a tow bill he didn't have to pay, plus the key work on top. He got it.
