A guy near Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura found me through one of my YouTube videos. He had watched a full Hyundai key replacement start to finish, saved my number, and forgot about it for months. I opened the OSLOKA-850T shell on his hood. The battery was fresh, but the board's contact pad had corrosion creeping in from the edge, just enough to create resistance. Cleaned the contacts, checked the solder points on the small board, reseated the CR2032 with good pressure on both terminals.
Then the part that matters: testing. Lock, unlock, panic, all three buttons from ten feet, twenty feet, across the lot. Three clean starts with the transponder reading on the first crank each time. No hesitation from the immobilizer.
He stood there clicking lock and unlock back and forth like he was making sure it was real.
The whole thing took maybe twenty minutes. No tow, no service counter, no waiting room with bad coffee. He already knew the process because he watched it on video before I ever showed up. Same person from the channel, same tools, same work. Just done at his vehicle for a fraction of what the dealer wanted.
