I pulled the blade fragment out, decoded the lock wafers, and checked the 4D-67 chip inside the cracked housing. Still intact. That is the part that matters. I used my VVDI2 to read the transponder data straight from the damaged chip, which meant I could skip a full all-keys-lost immobilizer reset on the 89661 ECU. Saved a good chunk of time. I cut two fresh TOY43 blades, rebuilt her three-button remote (part number 89070-35140) into a new shell with the salvaged chip and circuit board, and programmed the spare.
She went from zero keys to two in about 40 minutes, right there in the parking lot. A dealer would have wanted the car towed in and quoted days of wait time. She just drove away.
