There's a parking lot off J Street Corridor that sits behind a strip of small businesses near Trader Joe's. That's where I met the owner of a 2009 S60 on a Tuesday afternoon.
She had a working key. One working key. And she'd been carrying it like a piece of jewelry for two years because she already knew what a spare would cost at the dealer. The quote she got was high enough that she just decided to live with one key and hope nothing went wrong.
