2015 Volvo S60 Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A guy staying at a bed and breakfast along the Victoria Avenue corridor in Ventura called me on a Saturday evening. He was on a weekend trip and his only S60 smart fob had quit. Push-to-start did nothing. The emergency blade was so stiff in the driver's door he thought it was the wrong key.

I met him at the inn that same evening. His S60 runs the P3 platform CEM-based immobilizer, so the key has to be paired through the OBD port, not some ignition dance. I connected my programmer, generated a new KR55WK49266 fob, cut the emergency insert blade in the van, and registered the key to his CEM module. About 35 minutes start to finish.
He stood on the porch the whole time, arms crossed, watching. When I handed him the working fob and the push-to-start fired up clean, he just exhaled. Said he had been mentally writing off the whole weekend.
