2001 Audi TT Remote Flip Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
Out near Gaviota State Park in Santa Barbara, a woman was trying to switch from a rental back to her own 2001 Audi TT. Her only flip key was gone. She'd checked out of a hotel an hour earlier and left it somewhere in the room. Hotel staff searched and came up empty.

I got to her in about 35 minutes. Her TT ran the IMMO3 system with the Megamos ID48 chip, which is an older setup but still needs the right PIN extraction to program a new key. I pulled the immobilizer PIN from the instrument cluster through the OBD-II port using my Smart Pro, then cut a fresh HU66 flip key blank on my mobile machine and programmed the ID48 chip to match her car's security data.
Tested all four buttons on the 4D0837231P remote. Lock, unlock, trunk release, panic. Turned the ignition, engine fired clean, no immobilizer light on the dash.
She returned the rental, started her own car, and made her flight with time to spare. The dealer would have had her rebooking flights, extending the rental, and waiting days just to get an appointment. She drove away same day, paid a fraction of what they quoted, and kept her whole schedule intact.
