2004 Dodge Neon Transponder Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A guy from the Lemonwood neighborhood in Oxnard called me on a Saturday afternoon. He'd been out near a dirt lot past the edge of town, unloading a quad from his truck, and somewhere between the trail and the parking area his only Neon key went missing. Checked every pocket, checked under the seats, checked the wheel wells. Gone.

I got there and decoded his door lock with a Lishi tool. Read each wafer position inside the cylinder without touching the internals, without drilling anything, without pulling the cylinder at all. The lock looked exactly the same after I was done with it as it did before I started.
Once I had the cut depths, I cut a fresh blade to that code, seated the transponder in the new key head, and programmed it through the OBD port so the immobilizer would recognize it. Turned the key. Car started clean on the first try.
He was a little stunned because the other locksmith made it sound like parts were going to need to come off. Nothing came off. His original cylinder, his original lock, his original car. He saved a good chunk compared to what the first quote looked like, and he was back on the road before the afternoon was over.
The dealer comparison barely came up. Nearest Dodge dealer was over an hour away and would have needed the car towed in. That wasn't happening.
