Got a call from a guy over in the Mountain Meadows neighborhood in Moorpark. His 2001 Santa Fe had one key left, and it was chewed up. The blade was worn down enough that it would go into the ignition but stick on the way out. He had been wiggling it for weeks.

The whole job took maybe 20 minutes. He kept the old key as a backup even though I told him it was only going to get worse. Old habit.
He had also called the Hyundai dealer in the area. They wanted him to tow it in, prove ownership, and wait a few days. For a mechanical key. He spent a fraction of that with me and never left his driveway.
