Got a call from a guy near Poindexter Park in Moorpark. He had a 2006 Santa Fe and had already been through it with another locksmith, one of those low-ball Google ads. That tech reprogrammed the PLNHM-T002 remote but left the transponder key half-done. I brought my Smart Pro and pulled the 20-digit PIN from the immobilizer control module through OBD-II. Registered the transponder fresh so the ID46 handshake actually completed. Then I tested the remote side: lock, unlock, panic, all three buttons on the 95430-1E000 fob responding clean at full range.
He stood there and turned the key three times in a row just to watch the security light go solid and stay off. I get it. When a car has been fighting you for a week, you want to see it behave more than once.
The whole thing took about 25 minutes. He paid what I quoted, nothing added. The dealer had quoted him more and wanted the car towed in. He kept the car right in his driveway the entire time.
