Peach Hill, Moorpark. A guy called me about his 2006 Santa Fe on a Saturday morning. He was parked in his own driveway but couldn't get the doors to respond from the fob. Key still turned, car still ran, but the remote was dead. He'd already swapped the CR2032 twice - different brands from two different stores - and nothing changed.

Then I walked every button with him watching. Lock, unlock, the third function. Confirmed the range was normal at about 30 feet. That was the job.
He mentioned the dealer had told him he'd need a whole new fob programmed. I didn't say much about that. Sometimes the fix is just cleaning what's already there.
