I got a call from a woman in North Ventura, not far off Telegraph Road. She had a 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe and the smart fob was a mess. Cracked case along the seam, the rubber button pad was delaminating, and the emergency blade rattled when she shook it. Cosmetically rough. Everything tested out. Lock, unlock, all seven buttons doing their jobs, and the start button reading the fob without hesitation. She drove off with a fob that looked new and cost her nothing close to what the dealer quoted.
