On Upper State Street, not far from the older residential stretch where the craftsman houses give way to the condos, I got a call from a guy who was already frustrated before I picked up. He had found a locksmith through a sponsored ad, paid a real amount of money, and was standing next to a 1997 Jaguar XK that would crank and die every single time he tried to start it.
