I was parked outside a coffee shop off Thousand Oaks Boulevard when the call came in from someone over in the Wildwood area. Her 2004 MINI Hardtop just sat in her driveway not going anywhere. One key, no spare, and the car wouldn't recognize it.

I don't mention that part to make myself sound better than I am. I mention it because it's just a genuinely bad situation to tow a car across Thousand Oaks when you don't have to.
