The system accepted the new key ID, immobilizer cleared, engine started clean.
Then I synced the three-button remote, lock, unlock, trunk. Walked around the car testing each function twice. He stood there clicking the lock button over and over, watching the mirrors fold in, like he forgot the car could do that.
Whole thing took maybe 25 minutes in his driveway. He got the same result the dealer would have delivered days later, for a good chunk less, without moving the car an inch.
