Down at Fisherman's Wharf at the Harbor in Oxnard, a vet assistant finishing a late shift at the clinic nearby walked to the employee lot around 10pm and her flip key would not turn in the ignition. Not even a little. Dead stop at the cylinder.
She tried wiggling it, pulling it out, reinserting. Nothing.

The problem was mechanical. The HU66 ignition cylinder had a jammed wafer, one of those internal plates that wears down over years of use and then decides to lock up on you at the worst possible time.
I freed the cylinder, cleaned the binding wafer, and decoded the full lock to cut a fresh blade. Her original blade was worn enough that it was contributing to the jam. Swapped it into the NBG92596263 shell, tested ignition, tested all four remote buttons, locked and unlocked from distance.
She drove home within 40 minutes of my arrival. Did not have to leave her Jetta in a dark parking lot overnight. The whole thing cost a fraction of what the dealer would have quoted, and it happened the same night she called.
