Moving day in Oxnard, over near La Colonia neighborhood. A couple combining households had a PODS container packed and scheduled for a noon pickup. Somewhere inside one of those boxes was the only key to their 2017 Volkswagen Jetta.

The Megamos handshake took a minute, then I programmed the 4-button NBGFS93N remote: lock, unlock, trunk, panic. Tested every function in the lot.
One thing I told them before I left: the old key still works. Add-a-key on PQ25 platform VWs doesn't erase existing keys. So if that missing one turns up in a box labeled "kitchen stuff," it'll still start the car and lock the doors. No reprogramming needed.
They were back to loading within 45 minutes. The dealer route would have eaten their whole moving day and cost a good chunk more. They just needed the car to run, and it ran.
