2009 Honda Ridgeline Remote Head Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

Got a call from a mom in College Park, Oxnard, stuck at a daycare lot on a Wednesday afternoon. She had a 2009 Ridgeline, one key, and that key had gone through the washing machine. The 2009 Ridgeline uses Honda's standard transponder registration where the PCM learns each key's ID46 signature. Her new remote head key, part number 35111-S9A-305, was cut on my HPC machine right there and programmed in about 20 minutes total.

I told her to keep the washed key. The shell and blade were still good, and if she ever needed a spare, that housing could be reused with a fresh transponder and battery swap. Saves on the shell cost later.

She pulled out of that lot with a working key, her kid strapped in, and made bedtime on schedule. The whole thing took less than an hour from my arrival. The dealer would have been two days and a tow.
