An occupational therapist finishing a late session at an outpatient clinic off the Las Posas Road corridor in Camarillo walked to the employee lot around 9pm and her EX35 wouldn't start. Registered the new KR55WK48903, cut the NSN14 emergency insert blade on the truck, and started testing. Push-to-start, door handle touch lock and unlock, trunk release, all four buttons.
She sat in the passenger seat watching the dash the whole time, like she was waiting for the error to come back.
It didn't. She drove home about 35 minutes after calling me. No ride arranged, no car left in a dark lot, no patient schedule rearranged for a Thursday dealer trip that would have cost a good chunk more.
