A Victoria Estates resident called on a Tuesday afternoon. He had a 2005 Boxster sitting in his driveway and zero working keys. He'd picked the car up at a private sale and the seller handed him one worn-down key that snapped in the ignition on the third day. Half the blade was stuck inside the cylinder.

The broken blade in the ignition is actually a pretty common call on these older Boxsters. Worn keys on a tight cylinder are a bad combination, and people usually don't realize how worn the key is until it doesn't come back out.
