He landed after a red-eye, walked to the airport economy lot, and his 2001 Honda Odyssey wouldn't respond to the key fob. The CR2025 battery in the remote was dead. His Remote with FCC ID OUCG8D-440H-A was back working after a CR2025 swap and a quick reprogram to clear the fault code. He seemed pretty relieved when I told him the fix was that simple.
He drove home that same morning. Total was about $96. The dealer would have been $211 plus $175 in towing and a Thursday appointment. He skipped all of that and was home before lunch.
