He watched me do it. I walked every function before I called it done: lock, unlock, the sliding doors, the liftgate release. All of it came back clean.
He drove home before noon. Skipped the tow, skipped Thursday, skipped the dealer rate entirely. He just seemed glad somebody showed up.
