He landed after a red-eye, walked to the airport economy lot, and his 2015 Honda Odyssey wouldn't respond to the key fob. The CR2032 or CR1616 battery in the remote was dead. The car was locked, the emergency blade was inside his bag in the trunk, and the trunk wouldn't pop without the remote. He was stuck at the airport with luggage and no way into his own car.

The issue was just the dead fob battery causing no remote response and no push-to-start wake. His Smart Key with FCC ID KR5V1X was back working after a CR2032 or CR1616 swap and a quick reprogram to clear the fault code. He seemed pretty relieved when I told him the fix was that simple.
He drove home that same morning. Total was about $231. The dealer would have been $418 plus $175 in towing and a Thursday appointment. He skipped all of that and was home before lunch.
