Up on The Riviera, I got a call from a guy who had already been through it once before with a locksmith he found through a sponsored ad. He told me the story while I was setting up at his car.

The first guy showed up, looked at the 2006 A4, and told him the key needed to be programmed. Then quoted him a number that had doubled from what he heard on the phone.
