I was in Marina West on a Tuesday morning when the call came in. A woman parked near the harbor had walked out to her 2002 DeVille and gotten nothing. Key in the ignition, crank, and then the engine caught for about two seconds and quit. She tried it four more times before she called me. The whole job took about 35 minutes on site. She mentioned the dealer had told her it might be an ignition cylinder problem and quoted her a number she wasn't ready for. It was the key, not the cylinder.
