Got a call from someone near Hillcrest Center for the Arts in Thousand Oaks. They had a 1995 Chrysler Concorde sitting in a parking area with no key at all. Only ever had one, and it was gone.
People assume a mid-90s Chrysler needs programming. This one doesn't. The 1995 Concorde sits on the first-generation LH platform, pre-SKIM, no transponder. The key is purely mechanical, a Y155 cut. The GQ43VT7T remote is a separate piece that handles door locks and panic, nothing to do with starting the engine.
I used my Y155 Lishi to pick the door and decode every wafer in the lock. Cut a fresh key on the machine in my van, tried it in the ignition, and the 3.5L fired right up. Then I paired the GQ43VT7T remote, which on these is a self-program procedure: key on, hold unlock on the remote, press lock three times, release. Chime confirms it. Tested lock, unlock, panic, all good through both front doors.
Cut a spare mechanical key too so they would not be back in this spot.
The whole thing took maybe 25 minutes. No tow, no waiting days for a dealer appointment, no parts-counter markup on a remote that runs a CR2016 and three buttons. They drove out of that lot with two working keys and a paired remote, same afternoon they called.
