I was parked on a street just off Hot Springs Road on a Sunday morning. A woman flagged me down before I even finished setting up. She had a 2003 Chrysler Concorde and a story I have heard before.

I connected through the OBD port, pulled the PIN directly from the immobilizer module, cleared the bad key data the previous tech had left behind, and ran a clean learn with the full security cycle completed. Then I turned the key and let it idle. Thirty seconds. A minute. No stall.
She stood there watching the tachometer like she was waiting for it to lie to her. It did not.
I showed her the confirmation on the scan tool screen so she could see for herself that the key was fully written this time, not temporarily accepted. She had already paid someone else for a job that was never finished. I could not fix that part. But she drove home.
