The quickest way to separate a key issue from everything else is to try the spare key if you have one. If the spare fails in the same pattern, the key is probably not the problem. If the spare starts it cleanly every time, the blade on your primary key is likely worn. Either way, bring both keys when you call me and I can read them both before cutting anything new.
