2010 Infiniti Fx35
Key Replacement - Save vs Dealer in Ventura County

2010 Infiniti Fx35 Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

There's a mid-rise apartment complex over in the Wilson neighborhood of Oxnard, and the building superintendent there drives a 2010 Infiniti FX35. He also manages two company vehicles for the property.

He called me because he needed a spare for his own car and spares for both of the complex's vehicles, and the dealer had given him a per-key quote that, multiplied by three, was nowhere close to passing through the monthly maintenance budget without a fight.

The real problem wasn't just money, though. He couldn't pull three vehicles off-site one at a time. He told me straight: when a pipe bursts at eleven in the morning, he can't explain to a tenant that the vehicle is sitting at an Infiniti dealer waiting on a service bay.

I met him at the complex late one afternoon. He took one call about a dryer unit while I was setting up. I backed up the immobilizer module data before starting the sequence - when you're programming multiple keys across multiple vehicles in one session, that's just the right way to work. It gives you a recovery point if anything goes sideways mid-job.

I went through all three vehicles, programmed each fob, tested every button and every door handle, and confirmed push-button start on each one before moving to the next. He took a second call, this one about a gate sensor, while I was on the last vehicle.

When I was done he had all three spares tested, labeled, and ready to hand off to whoever needed them. He saved a significant amount compared to what the dealer had quoted for the set, kept every vehicle on-site the whole time, and never had a gap in coverage. That's what mobile service is actually for.
