A dental assistant at an endodontist office near Rincon Point in Carpinteria called about her boss's 2006 Jaguar XJ. Needed a spare flip key, and she had her act together before I even left my last job.

I connected through the OBD port and used JLR SDD/Pathfinder to talk to the KVM. Wrote the new key's transponder to the module, synced the remote, cut the tibbe blade on site, and tested every function: lock, unlock, trunk, panic, passive entry on both front doors, and push-to-start.
Twenty minutes from parking to handing her the tested spare.
She looked at it, flipped the blade out and back in a couple times like she was checking if it was real, then just said "that's it?" That's it. Her boss had called the Jaguar dealer in Santa Barbara first. They quoted a week wait for the part alone.
