2011 Lincoln Town Car Remote Head Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
A third-shift security guard over in the Waverly Heights area of Thousand Oaks called me around 11:30 at night. His only remote head key for his 2011 Lincoln Town Car had stopped working. The car was sitting in his driveway, locked, and his shift started at midnight.

Connected my programmer to the OBD-II port under the dash and ran the PATS all-keys-lost procedure through the body control module, part number 8W7T-15604-AB on these late Panther cars. The BCM erases all previously learned transponder IDs and then accepts new ones. Cut a fresh H75 blade on site, programmed the 4D-63 80-bit chip, and synced the three remote buttons on his CWTWB1U793 fob.
Tested it five times. Lock, unlock, trunk, ignition start, theft light behavior. Everything checked out.
He was backing out of his driveway headed to work before midnight. The whole job took about 35 minutes. A dealer visit would have cost him a full missed shift on top of paying way more for the same key.
