2013 Mazda 5 Smart Key Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional
Saturday afternoon in the Camarillo Springs area, a woman who sold vintage furniture at a local flea market was working between customers when I pulled up. Her 2013 Mazda 5 needed a replacement smart key, and she was convinced it had to go to the dealer.

Then I tested every function. Lock, unlock, hatch release, push-button engine start. Walked around the car checking proximity detection at each door handle and the hatch. All responding.
She watched the whole thing from about four feet away, still holding a price tag she'd been writing on. When the engine turned over on the new key, she just nodded like she'd been waiting for someone to prove it could be done outside a service bay.
The dealer wanted a weekday appointment and a chunk of her day. She kept selling furniture and drove home with two working keys.
