An overnight stocker called me from a taco truck lot near Rincon Beach Park in Ventura around 11pm. His only key to his 370Z was gone. No spare, no registration on him, and he was about to call a tow just to get the car somewhere safe.

Registered the fob, tested lock, unlock, trunk, panic, and push-button start. Then walked around the car to make sure the Intelligent Key detected through both door handles.
He stood there the whole time, watching me work under the parking lot lights. Once it started on the first press, his shoulders dropped about three inches.
He drove home that night. The VIN is the single most useful piece of information you can give me when you call.
