Over in the East End of Ojai, a college student had been running on one key since she bought her 2015 Passat used. She always meant to get a spare cut. That plan ended at a Craigslist meetup when the hinge on her flip key finally gave out. The blade separated from the housing mid-use and lodged in the door lock.
