2002 Infiniti Q45 REMOTE-HEAD-KEY Replacement - Fast, Affordable & Professional

A restaurant owner near the Ventura Road shopping corridor in Oxnard had been fighting his 2002 Infiniti Q45 ignition for weeks. He would wiggle the key, force it, sometimes sit there a full minute before the cylinder would turn. The dealer told him he needed a new ignition lock assembly, a new key, and reprogramming to the NATS module. He was about to schedule it when his valet mentioned me.

His remote head key with the CWTWB1U751 FCC ID paired back through the OBD port without any drama.

I handed him the old wafers so he could see the rounded edges himself. He just looked at them and shook his head.

Ignition turns smooth now. Key slides in clean. He kept the parts that actually needed replacing and left the rest of the lock alone.
