I got a call from a guy in South Bank, Oxnard, on a Thursday morning. He had a 2003 Q45, and the remote head key had taken a hit, concrete garage floor, and now the buttons were dead. The blade still turned the ignition, so the car ran, but the remote side was gone and he was manually unlocking and locking every time.

He said the dealer quote was going to be steep, plus the tow if the car would not start at all. He paid a fraction of that and the car sat in his driveway the whole time.
