Guy landed at the airport after a consulting trip, walked out to the parking structure, and his 2007 Quest was dead to his key. No chirp, no unlock, nothing. The CR1616 in his CWTWB1U751 remote head key had drained while the van sat in the lot for five days.
Worse, his emergency insert blade was inside his laptop bag. Which was in the cargo area. And the liftgate wouldn't pop without the fob signal. So the backup to the backup was also trapped.

I got to him in under an hour. Picked the door, got him inside, then plugged my IM608 into the OBD port to pull the NATS status. His key was still registered to the BCM. No faults stored besides the expected low-signal flag. The 46 chip was reading fine through the steering column antenna once I had the key close enough.
Swapped the CR1616, cleared the fault, and tested all four buttons: lock, unlock, trunk, panic. Tested push-to-start from the driver seat, then from the passenger side just to check range. Everything came back clean.
Handed him a spare CR1616 for the center console. He drove home that morning instead of waiting two more days for a dealer slot.
